Each platform follows relatively the same steps to embedding a post into a website, but we’ve provided an extensive guide for each possible platform, so you won’t have to guess! Below are different popular platforms that allow you to embed their content.

YouTube

  1. Go to the YouTube video that you want to embed
  2. Click on the “Share” button under the video
  3. Hit “Embed”
  4. Copy the HTML code
  5. In the code of the webpage, paste the HTML code into the spot where you want the YouTube video to be shown
  6. Publish your webpage and your Youtube video should be visible for users to see

Additional tips for WordPress sites:

  1. On WordPress, hit the + block icon and search for “Youtube”
  2. Add the block to the page and paste the YouTube URL in the box provided
  3. Click embed

Google Maps

  1. Go to Google Maps and search for the location you want to display on your site
  2. Click “Share” in the right corner
  3. Click “Embed a map”
  4. Hit “Copy HTML”
  5. Paste the HTML in your web page’s code in the exact spot you want it
  6. Publish your webpage to see Google Maps featured on your website

Facebook

  1. Go to the Facebook post that you want to share
  2. Hit the three dots in the top right-hand corner
  3. Click “Embed”

  1. On a computer, go to the Instagram post that you want to share
  2. Hit the three dots in the top right-hand corner
  3. Click “Embed”
  4. Hit “Copy embed code”
  5. Paste code directly into your web page code in your desired spot
  6. Publish your webpage to see the Instagram post featured

TikTok

  1. On a computer, go to the video on TikTok that you want to share
  2. Hit the arrow on the right-hand side of the video
  3. Click “Embed”
  4. Copy code
  5. Paste code into your webpage’s HTML code
  6. Publish your edits and you’ll see the TikTok video featured on your webpage

X (Formerly Twitter)

  1. Go to the post you want to embed on a computer
  2. Hit the three dots at the top right of the post
  3. Click “Embed post”
  4. Make any customizations you desire, and click “copy code”
  5. Paste the code into your website’s HTML where you want it to be displayed
  6. Publish the webpage to see the post appear

LinkedIn

  1. Go to the LinkedIn Post you want to share
  2. Hit the three dots at the top right-hand corner
  3. Click “Embed this post”
  4. Select “copy code”
  5. Paste this code into your website’s HTML, where you want it to be located
  6. Publish your webpage to see the results

Pinterest

  1. Open the Pinterest pin you want to display on your website
  2. Click the three dots at the top right-hand corner
  3. Click “Get Pin Embed Code”
  4. Paste the code into your website’s code in the spot you want the pin to show
  5. Publish your updated code to see the results
